The administration of ¹ú²úAV supports the mission of the university, making important contributions to the policies, procedures and services that are central to the education and well-being of our 22,000 students.Formally inaugurated as Rowan’s 7th president on September 20, 2013, Dr. Ali A. Houshmand leads the university during a period of unprecedented growth and opportunity.
Rowan's Provost, Dr. Anthony M. Lowman, is the University's Chief Academic Officer and maintains academic standards for undergraduate and graduate programs.
The Board of Trustees of ¹ú²úAV is vested by law with the general supervision of the university, its curriculum, services and policies.
An integral partner in the educational process, Student Life guides students through this period of intense personal growth and encourages them to get the most out of their college experience.
The DEI will facilitate Rowan’s efforts to be a leading university committed to addressing persistent issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion that result in positive outcomes for students, faculty, and staff.
The goal of the University Senate is to work together with other campus constituencies through shared governance to promote the well-being of the university.
Departments within University Advancement advance the mission of the university by securing philanthropic support and engaging alumni, donors and community members.
The Division of University Relations serves as the university’s front line of communication with the public and the university community, sharing news and announcements.
HR maximizes human capital through strategic planning, talent management and leadership development creating a dynamic environment for our Rowan community.
The Division of Finance provides an array of administrative and financial services that support university operations, including payroll, bursar, and more.
IRT supports the technological needs of faculty, staff and students, connects our multiple campuses and manages enterprise applications and software.
Encompassing landscaping, building maintenance, safety, utilities and environmental health, the Division of Facilities & Operations is responsible for the architecture and infrastructure of the university.
¹ú²úAV's Office of Government and External Relations serves as the conduit of information from the University to the federal and State governments.
Research at Rowan focuses on four main areas of competency, including Computation & Information, Health Sciences & Biotech, Infrastructure & Materials, and Sustainability & Community.
The Office of General Counsel (OGC) provides legal services to ¹ú²úAV. The office is responsible for all legal matters that affect the University, its faculty, and administrators.
